2007 Midwest Forest Industry Show Announces New Date and Format

January 2, 2007 Jefferson City, MO:  The entire nation’s wood products, timber harvesting, and forest industry will turn its attention to the Show-Me-State May 11-12, 2007 as St. Louis hosts the 2007 Midwest Forest Industry Show at the St. Charles Family Arena from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

The state-of-the-art industry show is newsworthy for many reasons, but 2007 will prove to be a more exciting forum than ever! For the first time, the 2007 show offers a new date, format, and agenda, which includes an equipment auction and “running” outdoor exhibits! MFIS consistently draws a large, buying, quality audience of the forest products industry’s key personnel.

The MFIS offers more than a quarter of a million square feet of indoor and outdoor exhibits, displays, and active demonstrations. Representation from the industry will include sawmill machinery, pallet machinery, chippers, de-barkers, chainsaws, logging equipment, trucks, trailers, and service companies.  Educational sessions will also be offered during the show.

The show’s location in St. Charles offers a wealth of entertainment to its visitors including casinos, shopping venues and exploring the St. Charles Historic District—one of the oldest river settlements in America. Just minutes from the St. Louis International Airport, the St. Charles Family Arena is easily accessible to exhibitors and attendees from throughout the U.S. and key foreign markets.
