2007 Midwest Forest Industry Show Announces New
Date and Format
January 2, 2007 Jefferson City, MO: The entire nation’s
wood products, timber harvesting, and forest industry will turn its attention
to the Show-Me-State May 11-12, 2007 as St. Louis hosts the 2007 Midwest
Forest Industry Show at the St. Charles Family Arena from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
The state-of-the-art industry show is newsworthy for many reasons, but 2007
will prove to be a more exciting forum than ever! For the first time, the
2007 show offers a new date, format, and agenda, which includes an equipment
auction and “running” outdoor exhibits! MFIS consistently draws
a large, buying, quality audience of the forest products industry’s
key personnel.
The MFIS offers more than a quarter of a million square feet of indoor and
outdoor exhibits, displays, and active demonstrations. Representation from
the industry will include sawmill machinery, pallet machinery, chippers,
de-barkers, chainsaws, logging equipment, trucks, trailers, and service companies. Educational
sessions will also be offered during the show.
The show’s location in St. Charles offers a wealth of entertainment
to its visitors including casinos, shopping venues and exploring the St.
Charles Historic District—one of the oldest river settlements in America.
Just minutes from the St. Louis International Airport, the St. Charles Family
Arena is easily accessible to exhibitors and attendees from throughout the
U.S. and key foreign markets.
