Comments: The Moss Hollow Sale is located within T25N, R10W Sec.5,7,8,9,17,18,20. The Forest Service will receive sealed bids in public at Ava District Office at 11:00 AM local time on 07/17/2012 for an estimated volume of 1506 CCF of Hardwood - Other sawtimber, 2408 CCF of Pine sawtimber, 317 CCF of Pine pulpwood, 607 CCF of Pine posts, 494 CCF of Hardwood - Other non-saw, and 576 CCF of Pine non-saw marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is within the sale area an unestimated volume of Hdwd - Other Topwood pulpwood that the bidder may agree to remove at a fixed rate. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below. A prospectus, bid form, and complete information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission of bids is available to the public from the PO Box 188; 1103 S. Jefferson St.; Ava, MO 65608. The Pine Topwood from pine sawtimber trees will be included as a mandatory removal item in the sale contract. The USDA is an equal opportunity provider and employer.
