Canadian conjunction with the NAPPO, has notified the WTO of their intent to adopt measures in line with International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM15). The proposed implementation date is September 16, 2005.

Commodities destined to Canada from the United States are exempt from the requirement for treatment and official marking.
